Project Manager across a portfolio of council residential and commercial refit and fit-out programmes for McTear Construction, with individual budgets ranging from £500k to £3M.
Each contract was delivered within its agreed conditions and timeframes. Day-to-day responsibilities included placing and managing subcontractor orders against project needs, drafting and negotiating third-party sub-contracts (with appropriate service levels, monitoring, and legal backout in place), and leading and motivating multiple on-site teams to hit project deliverables. Also spearheaded the practice's joining of the Considerate Contractors Scheme through the rigorous inspection and audit process.
