Seven concurrent 5-star new-build sites · 40–300 dwellings each · West Scotland
Contracts Manager overseeing seven concurrent 5-star new-build housing sites for Bellway Homes across West Scotland — individual developments ranging from 40–50 dwellings up to roughly 300 per site.
The pandemic hit early in the build programme; worked closely with the Construction Director to put safe working practices in place for contractors and keep sites moving where it was possible to do so safely. Day-to-day responsibilities included working with site managers to determine procurement requirements, advising and guiding management teams on cost-effective tendering, liaising with third-party suppliers to reduce material lead times, and building productive relationships with stakeholders across the portfolio.
